Is Pupcoach suitable for puppies?
Yes — it's suitable for dogs of all ages! If you've got a new pup and you're feeling overwhelmed, you're in exactly the right place: we turn "where do I even start?" into three small, doable things for today.
How is this different from YouTube videos or a training book?
A book or a video gives everyone the same advice and leaves you to work out which bits apply to your dog. Pupcoach gives you a plan — three exercises a day, chosen for your dog's age, breed, and goals, and adjusted as they progress and you tell us how it's going. It's the difference between a shelf of information and a coach who actually knows your dog.
Do I need any experience with dog training?
None at all. Every exercise comes with clear, step-by-step guidance you follow in real time, and you can ask for help whenever you're unsure. Pupcoach uses positive, reward-based methods throughout — kind, effective, and easy to get right, even on day one.
How much time does it take each day?
About 15–30 minutes. Your daily plan is three short exercises — small enough to fit a busy day, and short, frequent sessions are genuinely how dogs learn best. Some days you'll do all three; some days you'll manage one. Both are completely fine.
What breeds does Pupcoach support?
All of them — purebred, mixed, and everything in between. Your dog's breed (or best-guess mix) helps shape the plan, but every dog is trained as an individual, around their own age, energy, and goals.
